Exploring Different Ways Spirit Communicates

 

There are many different ways Spirit communicates with us. One of these ways, of course, most of you will be familiar with and that is to go and see a medium.  It is a medium's job to connect you to your loved ones on the other side of life by providing 'evidence of survival'.

 

Mediums work in many different ways but I generally start with a description of the person who is coming through from Spirit.  This may include their height, appearance, age when they passed to spirit, as well as how they passed, although there are no hard and fast rules. This is then followed by a message which is very meaningful to the individual.  Sometimes its just a seemingly insignificant word that actually means the world to the recipient. It could even be a familiar gesture. Perhaps its a memory, but generally what ever form the message takes, it leaves that person in no doubt that the medium is communicating with your loved one.  It's really rewarding work and gives people a great sense of hope and a new way of looking at life. 

 

Birds:

 

Spirit communicates with us in a number of different ways, sometimes just to offer us the comfort of knowing they are there.  Robins and Blackbirds are generally a sign that someone's trying to attract your attention. These two birds are also associated with the Druidic tradition.  Be aware of robins and blackbirds that suddenly appear in your garden, especially around anniversaries, (birthdays, or other celebrations associated with your loved ones). Lots of people experience robins and blackbirds in their gardens shortly after a bereavement.  Sometimes they will come right up to the window to grab your attention.  This is very reassuring.

 

Feathers:

 

Find a feather and you can be certain that you are being given the support of Spirit.  Most often seen as a sign from the Angels, I believe feathers also come from Spirit as well.  We were travelling up to London one day, all windows closed mind you, when a beautiful white feather spiralled down in front of us!  ....

 

Car number plates:

 

Watch out for car number plates which carry your loved ones initials.  Sometimes they may also carry the name of your  Guide.  Master Lam is one of my own Guides and I always know he is close when I see that number plate. That's when I know I need to be more focused. 

 

Apports

 

 

 

This is a photo of an apported crystal I received while working at a beautiful spiritual centre in Hemel Hempstead.  An apport is a gift from Spirit, which arrives out of the blue. It could be a crystal, a stone, a smell of perfume, or tobacco, or I have known a piece of jewellry to arrive from nowhere; this is a very special gift.  Sai Baba an Indian Guru was know to manifest all kinds of gifts from Spirit. There's a very gifted medium called Geoff Boltwood who was able to manifest perfumed oils from crystals. A friend of mine gave me a pyramid crystals before he passed with stomach cancer.  Geoff manifested oil from that crystal, a very special gift from my friend.

 

Dreams:

 

Remember there are a number of different ways Spirit comes to call, and you don't always need a medium.  Dreams are another very powerful way in which people or even Guides and Angels can communicate with us.  Its easier to communicate in this way because we are much more open and True communication is very often accompanied by a very loving sense of actually 'being there' and talking as you always did to your loved one.  There is always a peaceful air about the communication, sometimes in a magical garden, unlike anything you have ever seen before on earth.

 

Finally:

 

Be open to the many ways Spirit can communicate.  They will communicate with you in a way that typifies them as individuals.  For instance if they loved football, then their communication may have something to do with football, or if they loved the Beetles then you might suddenly start hearing lots of Beetles music.
