Noise comes in all shapes and Sizes

Dealing with the Frazzle in the Big Build up to the Full Moon

Noise comes in all Shapes and Sizes

Dealing with the Frazzle in the Big Build up to the Full Moon

Are you affected by SILENT noise?

I’m coming to realise what a noisy time of the year this is.  Everyone seems to be out there and at it, especially when the sun shines! How about you? What are your thoughts on this? Youre welcome to share your comments below.

I’m also recognising, noise comes in all shapes and sizes.

First there’s the physical noise; for instance airplanes, traffic, car horns, voices arguing long and hard into the night through open windows, pounding, thumping base music etc.

But then there’s something a lot more subtle but which can be just as, if not more, damaging: Silent Noise. Right now, the air waves are polluted with lots of it in the build up to next week's Full Moon. Silent Noises comes in the form of negative thoughts and feelings which swim around in the atmosphere waiting to be absorbed.Sometimes if we're frazzled we can soak it up like a sponge. Take the election jumble, for instance, it's building to fever pitch as we prepare to vote,  but more especially there's the fear, outrage and sorrow coursing through our veins as a result of the Manchester bombing together with the magnitude of other worldwide atrocities.

Add to this our own personal concerns for family and livelihood, and our brains are being seriously polluted by lots of negativity and fear. That's what I call Silent Noise and it’s contagious! Like there’s some sort of negative net out there, waiting to haul us all in. That's why its important to stay as upbeat and present as we possibly can, rather than get caught up in the hubbub!

On a personal level:

On a personal level, I just can't hack the physical noise coming from the other side of the fence at weekends.  I just have to come out of my beloved garden where I  write, because noise seriously challenges my equilibrium.  I am sure I am not the only medium and healer who’s come across this problem. Coupled with this, there are certain shops I have to avoid because of the frazzle I pick up in them. So what can be done? And why has it build to such a fever pitch of emotion at the moment?

Right now, there’s a huge energy build up in preparation for Summer Solstice, and next week’s full moon, is like a doorway or portal we have to go through to make the best of it!!! How can we turn things round to our advantage, rather than feeling we’ve been tossed out into the middle of a seething Bay of Biscay without an anchor to support us? It's important not to get dragged in too deep!

Here’s a quote from Richard Carlsson in ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff’, which says it all!
Something wonderful begins to happen with the simple realisation that life,
like an automobile, is driven from the inside out,
Not the other way round.
As you focus more on becoming peaceful from where you are,
Rather than focusing on where you would rather be,
you begin to find peace right now,
in the present.
Changing our attitude

As human beings we can connect to all this hubbub in one of two ways:-
Creatively or Destructively

The second of these, destructive connection, means we allow ourselves to get caught up in all the politicking and cross currents, which is just plain exhausting, and gets us no-where. It's also really isolating at a time when we could do with a bit of support. That's the negative net waiting to haul us in.
But then there's a much more positive , creative connection waiting to support us,but we do need to attune to the energy by connecting to  The Bigger Picture. We're much more than our physical senses can even begin to understand.

You've got a choice,  allow yourself to be reeled into all the negatives that are  waiting to latch on to us, pulling us down. Or you can step back and surrender the situation to Source/Spirit/Universe.Accept what’s going on, but step back without getting caught up in the control drama,  steering clear of all those fearful judgements. They just set you up for more flack!

Surrendering the situation to Source/Spirit/Universe means you are connecting to your Higher Self, which is where a position and effective solution can be found.

Full Moon helps you release old patterns

The Full Moons are all about releasing situations, old tired patterns and thought forms which no longer serve you.  So next week is your opportunity to do just that, by remembering you are much bigger than all this.

When we connect us this level. We are also connecting to a net, but this time it's there to help. You are Spirit in human form.  Spirit is Love, and therefore you too are unconditional love. This net is the very fabric of your making: unconditional love.  Treat yourself lovingly.
Stop, give yourself at least a short five minute break if that is all you can manage, to pull yourself out of the mad hurly burly. Remember, you are also driven like the car Richard Carlsson mentions, from the inside out.  The difference is the fuel which drives you is unconditional love, and that goes an awful long way.

Look beyond at the Bigger Picture.  Isn’t it about time you started treating yourself with a little bit of respect??? Isn't it about time you took more time out to cement your connection to the Bigger Picture?

After all, it is the loving part of you: your creative essence. If you offer your troubles up to Source Energy and patiently wait, it has the potential to get you looking at things from a different and more positive perspective.  In short to provide you with an original creative and inspirational solution which will lift you right out of the doldrums, and put you straight back on track.

Remember who you are. Creative solutions aren't found  in the confusion and shenanigans of the outside world, but within, in the still silence centre of your being, where you know you are much more that the outer, and sometimes really harsh world would have you believe.

First Contact  - Ashland, Oregon

Light Body Conference with Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer -

My connection and love of flowers and the natural world has grown over the years, to the point I offer evenings of flower clairsentience, which connect you to your loved ones on the other side of life.  My favourite time for this is spring time, when the flowers are at their best and gardens are finally ablaze with colour after the long dark winter.   I believe that flowers have a very special role to play in our world and have a lots to teach us.  My journey to Ashland nearly 20 years ago set me off on a long journey.  I would like to share it with you now. Please get back to me if you have any questions, or would like to share your own experience of the flower or tree kingdom.

Ashland Oregon bristled with heat. Hot is an understatement, it was something in the region of 100 degrees Fahrenheit! I hadn’t expected this up in the mountains.

When we landed at the tiny airport in nearby Medford, a small spiral of smoke caught my attention.  By the time we arrived at our resort, the plume had doubled in size, and it wasn’t too long before flames started to ravage the greenery adorning the mountain side.

Laying in my motel room recovering from jet lag after the long flight, I could hear shouts coming from outside. I dragged myself up to have a look.  Flames licked the mountain slopes, either side of the town, and the smell of smoke hung above the town.  Flames now leapt above the valley, looking dangerously close to devouring everything in its path..

The following morning at breakfast, although the flames had abated, a grey smoke haze hung above the building. It was surreal! Amid everything people were going about their daily business as if nothing at all had happened, although weary looking pilots came and went attempting to quell any fresh outbreaks.

The town itself had a very lucky escape, but some houses in outlying areas were lost, not to mention the toll on wildlife. During the conference, we spent a lot of time meditating and praying for the inhabitants and environment alike which seems to have paid dividends.

By the time I was due to leave, things had calmed down thank goodness, and, as I had a few hours left before the shuttled arrived,  I decided to walk towards the  town of Ashland, home of the famous Shakespeare Festival. The heat was still very oppressive, and danced crazy patterns on the tarmac. To the left, houses nestled back from the road, whilst pine trees lined gentle slopes off on the horizon. Things were now very quiet after the hubbub of the Light Body Weekend, and, hot though it was, I was revelling in the energy and taking my time saying my goodbyes and offering gratitude to my surroundings.

As the heat blazed down onto my bare shoulders, I became aware of another sensation, from somewhere over to my left.

It came and went in waves, so that, at first I thought it was all in my imagination. Then it dawned on me, I was being given some Reiki Healing!  It took a while before I traced the sensation to the pine trees skirting the horizon.  Although their communication was silence, I became aware they were speaking and sharing with me in their own way; waving a fond farewell, but thanking me as well as all the conference participants for the work we had done on their behalf during the weekend. I have come to believe, flowers have a wisdom of their own which they are only too eager to share with us humans

Although not specifically with flowers I believe this was the first step on my journey with that kingdom, , and an understanding that we are all a part of the same natural world. We all have the same spark of the divinity within us, and although we may be vastly differently in shape, and size, we are all come from the same Source. I also believe they have such a lot to share with us about life....and death, in a way we could never imagine.

Hamster Wheel or Heaven

Are you aiming for Heaven here on earth? Or are you happy to stay on the Hamster Wheel of Life

Are you stuck on the Hamster Wheel of Life? Or are you aiming for Heavenly Heights here on earth? Odd though it may seem, these two things aren’t as far apart as we may think. The only thing which separates them is the way we look at life.  Life’s Lens is coloured in one of two ways; fearfully or lovingly. My life turned round once I started to embrace life’s experiences lovingly rather than fearfully, deepening my understanding of 'life after death!'

Fear of the unknown is a real challenge! And perhaps the biggest fear we all have is of Death and the hurt and pain we experience when we lose a loved one to Spirit.   Fear is a mask which blinds us to what is really going on, even though the truth’s right out there for all to see..

It was like that when I lost Mum. . She was much too young to be taken away at 56 years old. Ridiculous though it may sound, I still felt orphaned as a young woman and very alone.
Loss coloured my world from a very early age:  I lost my Dad when just four and a half years old, as previously mentioned. (see previous blog), Two hospital stays when still young just added to my insecurity. A lot of my life, I realised much later on, had been spent on alert, expecting the worst to happen....and of course the worst did!  So when I lost Mum, I just wanted to run as far away as possible. I learned much later on, this is the wrong thing to do: diving for cover isn’t the answer, taking that Big Jump forward, even though it takes courage to face up to the hurt, is. Avoidance tactics never do work.

What happened next should have been a golden opportunity to receive the comfort I needed, but I wasn’t ready to take up the challenge. My eyes were still clouded with fear!

My first evening out some weeks after her loss, was to a new yoga and meditation class. Already a yoga fan, I floated off into a blissful state of relaxation as the meditation began. Stretched out on the floor, and wrapped securely under my blanket, I sighed and breathed a very long breath out, letting go of some of the pent up emotion that had been building up in my body since Mum’s death.  At first just a blip, a light built up slowly in my inner vision. I was sinking into a blissful infinity; each out breath transported me further into what was now an all encompassing brilliance.  There was something about it that seemed increasingly familiar, although I couldn’t put my finger on it to start with. I sighed once more, and the light began to morph into form. Mum!  She standing in the middle of a bridge of light, smiling straight at me her arms outstretched, looking radiant and happy. The love radiating from her was phenomenal, and unlike anything I had ever experienced before. But, I shrank back, because it challenged everything I knew about life......and death at that time. It also re-opened the still very raw wound.  So I pitched straight back into my physical body still wrapped cosily in a blanket on the floor, not willing to take another look.

Mum had died suddenly when the experts said she was getting better.  That was shocking enough, and yet here she was standing right in front of me, apparently in the pink of health, and absolutely nothing like the shell I’d seen collapsed on the kitchen floor only a few weeks before hand.  This very real experience was a real gem. However, such was my state of mind,  I just wasn’t ready to take the Big Jump forward and acknowledge her or the gift I had just been given. I was unable to stay open to this beautiful spiritual experience, because. I was too focused on the loss. Now I realise Mum was trying to comfort me from the other side of life and show me she was just a whisper away.

I now know just how important it is to stay open to the experience despite all the pain. And it is our willingness to do just that, which is the healing and the inspiration we are looking for. Inspirations we can pass on to other people too! Staying open to the love we feel for our friends and relatives on the other side, in spite of the pain is the key to our ongoing connection to them.  They are just a whisper away.

We human beings spend our lifetime running away from reality, and end up scratching around on the hamster wheel of life.  Turn the lock on the doorway called fear, rather than ducking for cover. The open doorway gives us access to our loved ones who have been waiting for us to hear their call. We have to dive right in rather than duck for cover. For it is by staying in the moment, that we receive the richest gifts.  And what could be more glorious that knowing there is no such thing as death, just a crossing to ‘the Higher Life! And that our loved ones continue to Walk by Our Side?

The Big Jump

Are you up for it?

Are you ready for the Big Jump?
We are all being challenged to let go of our default setting right now.
in the company of Archangel Michael

If you had told me as a kid that when I grew up I would be working in sometimes packed Spiritualist churches giving messages of hope and inspiration, I would never have believed you. My imagination just wouldn't stretch that far. It felt really scary to step out into the unknown, all alone (or so I thought) I was too much of a shrinking violet!  Shy and retiring is my default setting, although you may not think so now; I would literally hide behind my mum’s skirts as she tried to coax me out of my shell.

When I was a young teenager at secondary school,  I was asked to read something out during school assembly. It felt like the biggest jump I had made to that date!  It was an honour so I accepted, but of course was petrified; plain and simple, and shook dreadfully.  My church mouse squeak barely reached the front of the stage let alone the back of the hall: stage fright, big time.

At the end of Assembly, I was left alone to make the long lonely walk back to the classroom, and not one member of staff offered me any word of encouragement. I felt a complete failure.  I always had a problem taking centre stage after that. This same scenario kept playing out in my life, and somehow I could never imagine things any different. That was the problem; the way I looked at it!

When I started teaching I was asked to play piano for school assembly.
This time my fingers froze over the keyboard, and all I could manage were random notes.  I will never forget the headmaster’s face as he tried to keep the children singing! My thoughts zero-ed in on how stupid I must have looked!

Later still, I froze in front of an eminent Spiritualist medium at a training college. Absolutely nothing came out of my mouth but I swear you could hear my knees knocking and again I got not one word of advice or support. That's when I very nearly gave up altogether! Once again all I could think of was how ridiculous I must have looked in front of the main man.

It took me a while before I realised life was exactly that: a series of ‘Big Jumps’  into the unknown, there was nothing I could do to about that, but I could change the way I saw these challenges. And the way I saw things could really turn my life around. Even though I wasn't getting the support I needed in the outside world, 'things' were going on behind the negative thought forms that had gathered in my head. Blue skies were always there, they never deserted me. Even when I couldn't find them in the grey sky of my imagination my connection to the Angels was always there to guide me.

Even though 'shy and retiring' was my default setting from childhood, I didn't have to revert back to the old patterning: none of us do.  Did you realise positive change has also been factored in our BEING from the moment we are conceived?  We are meant to grow in our understanding.

The point of life here on earth is to take that Big Jump out into the world, to free ourselves from our fears and limitations. It's just that we resist change often imagining the worse. To be fair, much of that resistance is based on our sometimes traumatic experiences of life, real or imagined, especially as tiny children.

The Biggest Fear

The biggest fear we carry into our adult life from childhood is that we are going to be abandoned or rejected: all support and love withdrawn, just for being ourselves. But the Big Jump is part of our collective destiny. It is a real Leap of Faith. We all have to jump out of the prescribed mould into no man's land to become the individuals we are meant to become. We are not meant to be pale imitations of anyone else, we are truly meant to be ourselves and are literally set to go 'where no-one has been before'  as I have blogged before.

My own Big Jump came when I realised I was looking in the wrong place for the support I needed. It could never be found in the outside world, but that the Angels were always there to help us take that leap of Faith, even when we couldn't see them, and even when we weren't quite sure where on earth we were going to land.

The Man of the Moment is Archangel Michael, who has been really present over the eclipse corridor from start to finish.  Over the weekend I have been running an Angelic Reiki Attunement course, and we were all very aware of his presence.  His task is to help us surrender to this very moment, and to live a life founded on love rather than fear, knowing  we all do have a place in this world. without exception.

Over the years I have got to know Archangel Michael, my relationship with him has grown and grown.  He remains a true warrior for the Divinity but his presence has become increasingly nurturing and loving.  Although christened Michael, I feel that he is neither masculine or feminine, even though his name may suggest otherwise. His warrior-like energy is associated with cutting the ties that bind us to the past, whilst the more feminine side of Michael nurtures and protects us after we've made the Big Jump forward. His is the energy encouraging us to rest for a while, and take stock rather than bash on forward  as we take our first baby steps into a bright new dawn.

 Angelic Hugs
Love is the Breakout Call!

The relationship you have with yourself is perhaps the most important one in your life.  Its the basis for the life you lead.  Do you see yourself separate from Source energy, in which case you may spend a lot of time ducking and diving to avoid 'certain' catastrophe, or do you understand that you have a part of that Source energy deep within your Being? You have a destiny to fulfil, and the Angels and Spirit are not going to let you down. Love is not to be found outside of us, but deep within our hearts, and an Angelic Hug is designed to reconnect us to our True Feelings 'Unconditional Love' We literally are unconditional love! And those blue skies above you are just waiting for you to take flight!

Knowing who you are beyond the labels you've acquired in this lifetime, is the key which unlocks the next stage in global consciousness. It's the key to realising, we really are all on the same side, even though we may all have such different ideas about life. The names we attach to things may be different but underneath we are all one.
 Love is our breakout call.
It's the force which is here to nurture and support us
as we prepare to take that next Big Jump forward
and to go 'where no-one has gone before'

As I continue to work with Michael I am told how important it is to 'look out onto the world with loving, rather than fearful eyes' and even though we can't see the final outcome to imagine the blue skies shining way up high beyond the dark clouds of our imaginations, and to make that our new default setting. Blue is not only a very healing colour, it is associated with Archangel Michael himself.
As we prepare to take the next step forward into the New Age,
The First Step is to acknowledge who we are,
And then remember that Love is the parachute
which ensures SAFE LANDINGS

Just a little hug !

Just a little hug!

Medium Gillian Holland on the best place to go when you need a hug
as we take that next giant leap forward for mankind!

I've come to realise there's only one place to go for a good ol' hug. And that's to the Angels and the Realms of Spirit!

Right now, there’s one thing for certain: we could all do with one.  It is as if we are all coming out of a long dark tunnel after a really tough year. (Yay! And here in the Northern Hemisphere, the nights are even drawing out!) For me, January started with a wobble, too, because I, in common with a lot of people, can’t seem to shake this flipping bug!.
For the last two weeks especially I have been largely stuck indoors. If I am honest, I can more or less count the number of days I have felt 100% on one hand since the Christmas hols.  So I got to thinking.  What’s going on and why have these dreadful bugs seemed to have taken such a strangle hold at this particular time.  That’s when I remembered Deb Shapiro’s book ‘Your Body Speaks your Mind’ sitting on my book shelf. Here’s what she says about coughs, colds and the like, and it makes interesting reading:
One of the ways to understand illness
is to have a look at
the effects its having on your life!
·         Do you need some time to adjust to something in your life?
·         Or is it the opposite – a cry for affection and attention because everyone seems to be taking you for granted?
·         Do you need to get ill in order to get noticed and cared for?’(Although these days I think a lot of us are scared to take time-off , even when we really do feel wretched!)
Well!  Yes!
I believe this bug is a part of the general wake-up call.  We all need some time to adjust to what’s going on out there; not just in our own lives, but globally, too! We live in a world which seems to be getting more chaotic by the second.  Yet I believe we are on the edge of something truly exciting: a radical new understanding of life; a rebirth. This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius after all. We are literally being reborn into a higher level of understanding and awareness; remember the long dark tunnel I mentioned right at the beginning?
I think we also need to know everything’s going to be okay in the end, despite all this upheaval. Sometimes the world seems completely alien.  There’s nothing to hang on to any more.  That’s scary, and that’s when we really do need to take time out to think things through. And of course, that’s when we could all do with a reassuring hug.
Think of how vulnerable a tiny baby is in the earliest moments of its life here on earth.  Any new born needs lots of support and so do we, as we take ‘the next giant step forward for mankind.
So where do we turn for a dose of good old TLC when most of us are feeling completely frazzled and drained,, whether we have a physical virus or not? Self care is all important, it goes without saying.  We all need to eat sensibly, for a start, ensuring we get good quality rest as well as exercise. However, there’s one thing we frequently leave out of the equation when the going gets tough and that is Spirit!.
If we feel isolated and alone it’s a sign we’ve probably lost our connection to Spirit, and along- side that we’ve forgotten we truly are Spirit!  That’s where the Angels come in.
Angels are the best friends we can ever have, and because they give us their undivided attention and support, in a way our friends can’t because they’ve got so much else going on in their life. And the best piece of advice I can give to anyone at this time, is
STOP and reconnect to your Angels.
Over the last few days, perhaps the most profound healing I received came in the form of a ‘Spiritual Hug’ from the Angelic Realms.  I was bathed in the warmth of some very large and reassuring Angels Wings. During that time, I realised they are the only Beings who can truly be there for us all. It's not that our loved ones don't care, it's more that we are all feeling our resources are being stretched to the limits right now. Our loved ones can't be there for us 24/7 in the way the Angelics can.  The Angels  really do care,, not just for me but for everyone in the world about us.

The Angels are really urging us on. They are urging us to remember just who we are, and then to say when we are here to say. As I mentioned earlier, we are Spirit in human overcoats, and we are all being urged to stand good and true in our own light.  It's not that any one person is greater than the next  but sometimes we have to summon up the courage to step into the spotlight.  That's when we need the hug, and I think that's where we all are at the moment, summoning up the courage to be the individuals we were all destined to become.

Whilst times are undoubtedly tough right now, the Angels are urging us on,  not just for ourselves but for the whole of humanity. They have the perfect remedy, and that is to know above all that we are all loved and cared for.  In fact as the late medium Glynn Edwards said to me, ‘we are love, we are loving, and what’s more we are all lovable.’ ....and that’s without exception. ..and the Angels are here to serve us all with a huge dollop of TLC right now.
