Check out my New Book for 2012

Check Out My New Book:
Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude!

(if you have a moment please do post your comments at the bottom of this entry!)
Now that Christmas is but a memory, I expect you, like me, have time to reflect on what's important in your life. It goes along with those new years resolutions.  Preparing the ground so that they can take root is an essential. And preparing the ground with  'an attitude of gratitude' for what we already have is a very important first step. As someone who is embarking on an adventure with the Law of Attraction and the Art of Manifesting your dreams, its very important to focus on the positive, rather than the negative. Remember that even a negative can become a positive, because it shows us what we do want.

Begin by offering gratitude
Notice the way your mood shifts into another gear.
This creates a positive mindset
AND that means your focus is on receiving what you want
rather than the lack of it.

The Gratitude Book Project: Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude is a book full of inspiration.
Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude is a great way to remember to count our blessings every day of the year and is a testimony to the life changing power of doing so.

I’m so excited to be a part of this book, and am so pleased that another piece of mine 'Finding Uncle Albert' was included in the 2011 edition of this book as well.

My entry was about 'how great it is to be a grandmother!' Its also about what great teachers our children and grandchildren always are.  Its just a short piece but a tribute to my grandson, who's shown me one or two things about life already!

This book is full of inspirational stories and appreciation, not only for the things and people we sometimes take for granted, but for challenging circumstances and often less than desirable events.

Expressing appreciation for the good things in our lives, though sometimes overlooked, is fairly easy. But imagine expressing your gratitude for things such as not fitting in, Muscular Dystrophy, bankruptcy, or the loss of a job or a loved one.  That’s when the practice of gratitude really starts to take on a life changing power!

Net proceeds from all books in The Gratitude Book Project® series are proudly donated to the following charities:

·         Feeding America

·         Women for Women International

·         American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (A.S.P.C.A.)

These books make great  gifts for friends and family and the book is a wonderful way to remember to count our daily blessings. I hope you will join me in supporting these organizations and in keeping gratitude in motion throughout the year.
